Can you become a Champion?

Our Charity Champions help us to raise both vital funds and awareness in their places of work. They organise fundraising events and collections with colleagues e.g. stamp recycling, cake stalls, book stalls and encourage payroll giving and spread the word about our events and campaigns e.g. online shopping.

We are looking for individuals who are:

· Friendly and outgoing

· Able to work under own direction

· Able to follow charity's procedures

· Have approval from their employers

You are not required to have prior knowledge of visual impairment, however, a general understanding would be useful (please check our website for basic information on eye conditions). You will be offered the opportunity to undertake a one day Visual Impairment Awareness training course as part of your volunteering.

If you are interested in becoming a Charity Champion, please contact Sight Support on 01482 342297 or email us at volunteering@sightsupport.org.
