160th Anniversary Afternoon Tea
Sight Support Hull & East Yorkshire, one of the region’s longstanding charities, is proud to announce a special afternoon tea event to commemorate its 160th anniversary. The celebration will take place on Wednesday 4th September at the elegant Tickton Grange Hotel, starting at 1pm.
Founded in 1864, Sight Support Hull & East Yorkshire has been at the forefront of providing vital services and support for individuals living with sight loss across the region. Over the past 160 years, the charity has grown from humble beginnings to become a beacon of hope for thousands of people, offering practical and emotional support to help them lead independent and fulfilling lives.
The anniversary celebration will feature a traditional afternoon tea, served in the exquisite surroundings of Tickton Grange Hotel. Guests will enjoy a selection of fine teas, finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries, with musical entertainment and an inspirational guest speaker from the Travelling Blind Blog.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to win some wonderful raffle prizes donated by local businesses, with all proceeds going directly to support the charity’s ongoing work.
