Volunteering

Two smiling ladies holding collection boxes.

Our volunteers kindly give their time to help us both in delivering our services and in raising the vital funds needed to continue our work. We are extremely grateful for their help as without them we would not be able to support as many people as we do. We value our volunteers and in return for their support we offer full induction, support and training, including Visual Impairment awareness and Sight Guiding training.

If you would like to be part of our volunteering team and have the chance to meet new friends, recognise and develop new skills, have fun, whilst having the satisfaction that you are making a real difference in your community, then please contact us on 01482 342297 or email [email protected].

Volunteering Opportunities

Whatever your interests, whatever your experience, there will probably be a volunteering opportunity that will suit you. Some activities take place outside of “office hours” and you can give as little or as much time as you are able.

Whether you simply have some free time and want to “give something back” or are looking for a change of direction and seeking work experience, we would love to hear from you, so please contact us today.
