Sight Support is a UK registered charity which provides support for people with sight loss in Hull and the East Riding.
Our Vision
We believe no-one in Hull & East Yorkshire should have to face sight loss alone and every visually impaired person can enjoy the same opportunities and quality of life as those who are fully sighted.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve and enrich the quality of life for local people at all stages of sight loss, through the provision of a wide range of support services, enabling them to reach their full potential and lead independent lives.
We currently support more than 2,600 local people with a range of visual impairments and work closely in partnership with local authorities, other local charities and a variety of support groups to provide the most appropriate support to suit each individual’s specific needs.
We receive no government funding and rely on donations and gifts in wills to continue our work.
