For 160 years Sight Support (formerly the Hull & East Riding Institute for the Blind) has been helping people in Hull & East Yorkshire with visual impairments to live full and independent lives. Our charity currently supports 2,400 people of all ages with a variety of services. Every day over 250 people start to lose their sight in the UK and 9% of us will become blind or partially sighted by the time we reach the age of 60.
Join us in celebrating Sight Support’s 160th Anniversary at a special afternoon tea in the luxurious surroundings of Tickton Grange Hotel. Plus enjoy an inspirational talk from our guest speaker and the chance to win some wonderful raffle prizes.
Guest Speaker: Andrew Elliker-Reeve from Travelling Blind Blog – which shares some of the hilarious and often totally stupid experiences Andrew has had a on his travels through life learning to be blind.
