Urgent appeal

Sight Support Hull and East Yorkshire have launched an appeal as they have currently run out of soft toys to run their teddy tombola stalls at local events and are now in urgent need of donations before their next events.

“Teddies and other soft toys are always our most popular prizes,” says Fundraising Manager, Angela Gregory. “Sight Support receives no government funding, so donations of soft toys are vital to help us raise the funds we need to maintain our support services to local people who are blind or partially sighted.”

The charity is hoping people will organise collections of toys amongst their friends or family, or at places of work.

Preloved toys can be donated to Sight Support’s centre on Beverley Road in Hull, Monday to Friday between 9.00am –5.00pm.
